Step 1: Research your court case. Explore what happened in the case and how it may have influenced the education of English learners.
Step 2: Create a slide, using PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote, presenting the court case. Your slide format is flexible, but it must include at least the following information:
- Who were the major players in the case (i.e., who were the plaintiffs and defendants)?
- What was the complaint or argument of the plaintiff?
- What was the decision made by the court?
- How did this impact English learner instruction going forward?
- Citations for references you used for your research.

Exemplary (10pts)- Student demonstrates a thorough understanding and a perceptive synthesis of the court case based on their research and presents it in a clear manner. (10-9)
