visual argument 12

I need a visual argument, not a powerpoint please. (please add a paragraph so I know what it means) Here are the instructions.

  1. Choose an argument that you want to make. Think about issues that are important to you.
  2. Your final product will be one image. This is NOT a PowerPoint presentation. Decide what you would like your argument to say and look like. Experiment with arranging images and text to create the most powerful result.
  3. Look for components for your visual argument – you may find images to include or create your own. Note: Don’t just copy someone else’s already completed visual argument image and use it as part of yours. Be original.
  4. Once you have created or found and modified the perfect image, add a slogan – a few clever words that get the point across. Think about magazine ads or billboards you see along the highway.
  5. Use a medium you like – Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop. Any are acceptable. Remember – this is one slide in PowerPoint, or One page in WORD, or ONE saved .jpg from Photoshop.
  6. Submit to the Visual Argument Dropbox (VA1).
  7. Then, submit your work on the Discussion Board (DVA1), so your classmates can see what you have done. This will not be graded.

We will exhibit your work – note that you are not making a presentation. Your work, as a visual argument, will stand and argue on its own.
