Respond to at least one colleagues’ post with a comment on the presentation and interpretation of their analysis. In your response, address the following questions:
- Was the presentation of results clear? If so, provide some specific comments on why. If not, provide constructive suggestions.
- Are you able to understand how the results might relate back to positive social change? Do you think there are other aspects of positive social change related to the results
For your categorical variable:

- An appropriate measure of variation.
The better measure would be the mean as it gives you an average of the numbers of focus.
- How variable are the data?
The data does not seem to vary much as most people are having smaller families and therefore fewer children.
- How would you describe this data?
This data gives a good representation of the number of children families are now having. It shows the shift from bigger families of the past to the current smaller families.
- What sort of research question would this variable help answer that might inform social change?
Is the change in people waiting until they are older and established to have children leading to having fewer children?
Post the following information for your continuous variable:

- How variable are the data?
The data varies widely as there is a larger standard deviation and a sizeable difference between the minimum and maximum.
- How would you describe this data?
This data shows the socioeconomic index of the respondents.
- What sort of research question would this variable help answer that might inform social change?
Is there a marked difference between the upper and lower socioeconomic status of the respondents that could lead to different privileges for school children?
