    • Using their texts as well as your own observations, why are American’s so angry? (use textual examples from at least TWO of the texts as you answer this question)
    • React to the texts: How do their arguments contradict or complicate Ehrenreich’s “Bright-Sided”? Stack their arguments side-by-side to see how their points complicate the ideas that Americans are bright-sided. If we are fueled with anger at certain times, such as during elections or this Corona virus pandemic, are there times when we are bright-sided? Do speaking out help us to feel hope that there will be a brighter future?
